Race #01 Report
18th-20th June 2010 - 31st VARAC International Vintage Festival at Mosport
First race weekend. Our debut. Overall the car impressed me. We started off slowly and built on positive progress all weekend. The car's engine and carb setup really came to life after the last session on Friday. Only set back was the exhaust falling off on the last race.

Qualifying (Q2) 44th position of 48 cars- 2:05.939 @ 113.112
Race (R3) Started 44th finished in 34th of 39 cars - 1:59.678 @ 119.029
Enduro Finished in 21st position of 34 cars 15 Laps @ 117.626

Race (R8) Stared in 34th finished 27th of 34 cars - 1:57.026 @ 121.727
Feature Race (F5) Started in 27th finished 29th of 29 cars - 1:54.589 @ 124.316
(Exhaust fell off. Would have been 24)

Varac Vintage Festival Weekend
17-20th June 2010
Mosport
Thursday
- Arrived at 4pm. (Next time do not run trailer through tunnel)
- Tech 5pm. Passed with requirement to do Annual tech in the morning.
- Required an additional kill switch decal $2.00.
- Did the timing and replaced the main belt.
Friday
- Annual tech performed and passed. 2010-24.
- Ran all 3 practice runs.
- Car got better and better. Carbs appeared to cleaned themselves out.
- Tires set to 26 psi.
- Valve cover is leaking or oil cap.
- Need accusump. Pressure dripping through turn 5.
Saturday
- 5th slowest
- Exhaust fell off
- Fuel vent hose is pushing out fuel. Hose is too short. Need longer hose
- Rain!
- Broke 2min mark.
- Ran the Endro race 40mins plus mins. Chris broke. I waited to go out.
- Need to adjust clutch.
- Suggest to put the battery cover back on to keep fuel away from batt when fuelling.
- Ran 90 degrees during the long enduro with fan on.
- Hot day, may need water wetter.
Sunday
- 1st session went even faster
- No changes
- Keep steals?

- Radio for commas between crew
- Starter
- Move steering wheel closer
- ear defenders
- Go Pro camera
- Better LED lights for gauges
- Shift light
- May want a crank vent
