I have started to remove the front end and change out the tie rod end, upper and lower ball joints. As well new bushings. Fun job.

Stupid tie rod wont come free. Despite me buying a narrow separator. Grrr.

Sorted out how to install the Delrin Bushings. The key was removing an inner sleeve from the control arms.

So yet another tool from PA, but boy did it do the job. The upper ball joint took off with so much force it dented the drywall ceiling!

Repaired the small crack on the lower control arm, painted it and then put in the head light covers.

While the suspension is out I started stripped out the sealant from the wheel well. What a messy gooy job.

FInished cleaning. Applied primer, red paint and clear. Looks pretty. Good enough for this season.

Andrew suggested scoring the top of the thread and using a screw driver to hold the ball joint in place. Success.

07 Feb 2012 Driver Front
Tonight I managed to wrap up the driver front. I still need to grease the main bearing, will do all 4 corners when I'm ready.
