Started in on the passenger side front suspension make over.
  • IMG 2901 Slide the car over. Those casters are very handy.
  • IMG 2902 Popped off the wheel and went to town.
  • IMG 2903 Sway bar comes off. Note the rub top right.
  • IMG 2904 Camera not focusing grrr. Brake system off.
  • IMG 2905 Pesky tie rod end.
  • IMG 2906 26 turns for the tie rod to come off.
  • IMG 2907 Messy. Post MT fluids :)

  • IMG 2910 Right tie rod end time. Like the driver side. Very much stuck in place.
  • IMG 2912 WD40 and the tool. POP. Much easier on the vise vs on the car.
  • IMG 2913 Note the ball joints are factory!!!

  • IMG 2915 Lesson learned from the driver side. Remove the steering link.
  • IMG 2916 Now I can access the bolts for the ball joints and use the impact.

  • IMG 2918 But thats it for tonight. I will pop the ball joints and attack the rivets next.
