I have a plan to get an oil temp gauge going and cheaply.
  • IMG 1934 A little hot water testing. 160F pretty accurate. Who you calling Chicken?
  • IMG 1935 AutoMeter Water Temperature 2431.
  • IMG 1936 So which one should I run. The smaller one or the AutoMeter.
  • IMG 1937 Just need a 3/8" NPT to 1/2" NPT. I will run the gauge's probe right into the filter. Gotta love a simple plan.
  • IMG 1938 Found the 3/8 to 1/2" adaptor.
  • IMG 1939 In place.
  • IMG 1941 Probe inside the filter.
  • IMG 1942 Engine bay.
  • IMG 1944 I will locate it next to the oil pressure gauge.
  • IMG 1945 Warning light, but in red which is somewhere in the garage.
