A little drama removing the intake. A lot more coolant flow then I was expecting.
  • IMG 1274 The old NGK EP6ES. The rusted one was on cylinder #3. The bolts are from the intake.
  • IMG 1275 The intake gasket.
  • IMG 1276 Coolant overflow bottle. I want clean it out before installing.
  • IMG 1277 Cooling centre pipe. I want to put a fresh seal because I had fluid onto of cylinder 1 port.
  • IMG 1278 Old carb.
  • IMG 1279 I put in some NGK BPR8ES for now. They were in the garage and clean from the GT6.
  • IMG 1280 Old brake lines. I will renew them.
  • IMG 1281 Cleaned all of the spark plug ports.
  • IMG 1284 Cleaned out the cooling port.
  • IMG 1286 Cleaned out all the intake ports. I was concered about getting coolant into the intake ports. I wiped them out. Added some oil and packed some cloths in. I don't think there is anything to worry about.
  • IMG 1287 Note how the centre water port is pluged. No more flow. Good.
  • IMG 1288 Cleaned the intake from the old gasket off.
  • IMG 1289 Next we'll get it rebuilt and happy.
